Hey Key Clubbers! How do you feel?!?! PNW District Convention is only a few days away!! Hope you're all excited! Here's a message from Ms. Clarke for this weekend's plan:
We have the bus reserved so we can ride together, meet each other, and get started on that spirit we'll exhibit all weekend. In addition to helping many of you attend convention the area Kiwanis clubs have donated funds to cover this expense. Please be sure to thank them.
The bus will load in the faculty lot at Shelton High School and leave at noon on Friday. We'll make one stop in Olympia at Olympia High School in their stadium lot. The bus should arrive there at approximately 12:30 p.m. We have permission for you to park in their stadium lot for the weekend. They asked me to remind you, however, that you park your car at your own risk: so be sure to keep valuables out of sight. If you have concerns you might want to have someone drop you off and pick you up.
When we arrive at the hotel all Key Clubbers will remain on the bus while advisors go inside for registration. When appropriate we will have you come into the hospitality room with your luggage. As soon as they are available we will distribute convention materials, shirts and room keys.
Just prior to boarding the bus on Sunday morning we will take a Division picture in front of the hotel. The bus should arrive back at Olympia High School at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Sunday and be back at SHS between 12:15 and 12:30 p.m.
Please be sure that your parents/guardians know that you'll be at the Airport Double Tree Inn and the name of your advisor/chaperone in case of an emergency. If there are any questions about the bus, you can contact me at this address or by phone at 426-4471 Ext. 16415.
